The high flying Sauti Sol band is currently enjoying massive media attention after the video with Obama doing their lipala dance goes viral. They were entertaining guests at a dinner held in honor of Obama during his visit in Kenya. President Obama couldn't resist dancing to the band's hit song 'sura yako' and was joined on stage by Uhuru Kenyatta and first lady Margaret Kenyatta among other high profile guests. This is just coming a few weeks after Sauti Sol graced the BET awards even though they didn't win there. The band is undoubtedly very popular in Africa and beyond. The current popularity is definitely going to increase their fan base as they continue to release more hits and win more awards in future.
