Detectives from Los Angeles started investigating the theft on Wednesday but no suspects as yet. The white Oscar dress which Francisco Costa designed for Calvin Klein is adorned with 6,000 Akoya pearls. All the pearls are also white in color. Nothing else was reported to have been stolen from the hotel room.
